Mooney Boats Ltd lengthening a 9m aluminum vessel previously built in 2005

Mooney Boats Ltd lengthening a 9m aluminum vessel which they built in 2005 for Clewbay Marine Services Ltd. The vessel is being lengthened by 3m which will give her an overall length of 12m and will increase here deck carrying capacity to 10 Tons. The hull structure has been analysed using Lloyds Special Service Craft Rules and the structure is sufficiently strong to satisfy Lloyd’s rules. When the vessel is completed she will be re-inclined by MDI Scotland and a new stability book will be submitted to the MSO for approval. The vessel is due to be completed early January 2011.
