Official Opening of new Store

Mooney Boats Boat Yard and Chandlery Store

The Mooney family would like to thank everybody for the great turn out that was had on Saturday 4th December at the opening of there new development. It was great to see such support from the locality particularly in the weather conditions.

The one and only Noel Cunningham got the show on the road and when everybody had arrived Noel called on Philomena Mooney to cut the tape and official open the new building at 3.20pm. After the cutting of the ribbon everyone was invited inside the new building for something to eat and a few drinks.

The family would like to pay tribute to the Fleet Inn for the fantastic food they had and also the brilliant bar services on site. At approx 4pm father Colm Gallagher blessed the new building and paid tribute to the late Micheal Mooney and the business he had built. Noel then called on Lee Mooney who said a few words on behalf of the family and would once again just like to thank everybody that was involved with the project our customers and all our staff.
