MFV Deirdre & Deirdre K dry-dock at Mooney Boats Ltd

Mooney Boats Ltd has recently completed the dry-docking for 2 vessels belonging to Gerard Kelly from Greencastle. The fist vessel out was the MFV Deirdre K a 34m mussel dredger was lifted out of the water on the 25th May where she had her btm washed down in the repair bay and was given a coat of antifouling and also had her top sides painted. The vessels btm was surveyed and she was put back into the water on the 28th May. On the same days Gerard’s 2nd vessel the Deirdre a 40m Mussel dredger was lifted and again had her btm washed down in the repair bay and was given a coat of antifouling. Mooney Boats Ltd also carried inspections on the vessels anchor chains, tail shaft, rudders and ships side valves for BV. The Mfv Deirdre was put back into the water on the 30th May 2012
